Difference between 2D and 3D

Both 3D and 2D graphics have their own advantages. In some case the use of 2D graphics and animations are more appropriate and vice versa. Perhaps the biggest difference between creating 2D motion graphics and 3D is simply the cost, 2D provides more bang for your buck.

2D animation and motion graphics are almost always produced using a programme called ‘Adobe After Effects’ which has quickly become the industry standard whether clients are animating text for a TV commercial or adding an animated  title to a talking head.
